Job Description

Job Location BahrainJob Description You will take ownership and have a share in the profitability of the business In this context you will take responsibility for entire operations of the restaurant Duties will include restaurant marketing strategies, recruiting and hiring restaurant staff, training, overseeing food quality, developing menus as well as greeting and serving restaurant guests, promoting the brand, developing strategies for future growth, and partnershipsDuties and Responsibilities Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation Deliver superior guest services Ensure guest satisfaction Plan new and update existing menus Plan and develop the overall restaurant marketing strategy Implement marketing plan through all media and channels including social media, website, and platforms such as Talabat Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints Organize and supervise shifts Manage and lead staff Hire new employees Training and evaluate staff performance Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory Manage restaurant supplies Control costs and minimize waste Nurture a positive working environment Ensure restaurant cleanliness Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety best practices Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales Take ownership for business profitability; managing and reporting on weekly and monthly P&L Develop strategies to grow the business; including new channels, business lines, expansion and partnerships; Develop appropriate tools to monitor & report KPIs to the partners Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and best practicesRequirements Min 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role preferably with international brand Min 10 years of experience in food and hospitality business Extensive knowledge of Indian food in general and South Indian food in particular; Computer literacy; familiarity with marketing over social media and use of delivery platforms such as Talabat Familiarity with restaurant management software, POS etc Self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual Strong leadership, motivational and people skills Good financial management skills Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Culinary school diploma or BS degree in Business Administration preferred Fluent in English languageInterested candidate can apply with your updated resume
