It could well be your perfect opportunity if, like us, you always aim to exceed customer needs, deliver value and are skilled at fostering strong relationshipsIn this exciting roleWe are looking for a dynamic and creative professional who can be a good addition to our innovative team and culture In this position, you will focus on Morocco and countries in West Africa toRelease your creativity- Prepare flavour samples as requested for customer briefs, applications needs, technology performance assessment, QC standards, physical testing, etc- Formulate new flavour creations or modify existing flavours to meet customer requirements, internal testing needs, or new technology development at an expert level for selected flavour types- Coordinate the evaluation of materials developed internally or from external sources and assess the potential for flavour creationCraft excellent relationships with our customers- Maintain effective relationships with a broad number of partners and stakeholders to gain their trust and respect- Execute daily brief-related tasks and fully manage assigned projects and provide flavours which meet all defined customer needs and manufacturing practices, sample scale-up, production requirements, regulatory compliance, etc- Lead customer visits for flavour creation and product presentations when requiredBe a technical expert and leader- To resolve flavour production issues, customer complaints, and complete ownership of created flavours- Coach, train, mentor and manage flavour assistants and flavourist s as requiredYou?Are you someone who wants to grow and shape your own world? Then come join us - and impact your world!Your professional profile includesAt least a Bachelor s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or in any other relevant disciplineMinimum 7-10 years experience as a Flavourist after completion of your Flavourist training program, with a Flavours house or with companies in the FMCGProductionManufacturingSpecialised or Boutique Flavour ingredient sectorsShould have current or recent Flavour creation experience in the Beverages and Sweet Goods category Prior experience focussing on Africa or the Middle East region will be advantageousStrong oral and written proficiency in both English and French languagesSolid knowledge of raw materials and flavour ingredients, flavour formulation, modifications and adjustments, solvent and carrier systems, delivery systems, analytical methodologies and regulatory requirementsAbility to try innovative tools in flavour creation, building a strong trials plan and communicate the outcome to the Flavour Creation & Application communityExpert tasting skills and the ability to create and adjust flavour formulations that meet the taste requirements of customersExcellent presentation skills and strong communication & interpersonal skillsAble to direct and motivate project teamsA team-focused work styleAn international mindsetAble to demonstrate proficiency in using common PC applications
