POSITION SUMMARY
The EOC Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership along with daily oversight, direction, and guidance concerning the operations of the Emergency Operations Center, and compliance with the requirements of the PWS, Army Regulations, Policies, and Directives Enforce and be familiar with all camp Policy Letters Review Emergency Notifications and Battle Drill Procedures Provide instructions and guidance during emergencies Ensure Internal Operational Procedures are current and compliant with PWS requirements
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES
Enforce and be familiar with all camp Policy Letters
Review Emergency Notifications and Battle Drill Procedures
Maintain a Duty log, DA form 1594, of all events during a 24 hours shift
Provide instructions and guidance during emergencies
Enforce off-post memos IAW ARCENT policy
Monitormaintain communication checks with all ASG-KU Camps every 2hrs via radio andor landline
Maintain communication checks every 2hrs with ARCENT NCS (Lucky Main)
Receive Red Cross messages and notify the appropriate Companys 1SG or CO
Disseminate severe weather notification from ARCENT SWO via SIPRNIPR and WAVES, if necessary
Monitor and generate SALUTE report for all MEDEVAC in ASG-Ku AOR
Monitor the Telephones, SIPR, NIPR and the Events Tracker
Provide assistance, information and notification to the appropriate personnel of reportable incidents in accordance with ASG-Ku and ARCENT policies and procedures
Notify the ASG-Ku Force Protection Officer on all Force Protection related incidents and issues
Collect, analyze and disseminate operation information from ASG-Ku subordinate camps and facilitate information flow between lower, higher and lateral commands
Communicates directly with response management and unit operations officer
Responds to incidents in accordance with policies based on ASG-Ku CCIR and SIR reporting requirements
Comply with all instructions and directions provided by the Command Operations Center (COC)
Technicians must have knowledge in military operations and experience working in a Tactical Operations Center (TOC)
All technicians must be able to work as a team, perform multiple tasks and take guidance from EOC supervisor and BTL CPTNCOIC
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED
A working knowledge CPOF (Command Post Of the Future), BFT (Blue Force Tracker) and MIRC (Microsoft Internet Relay Chat) is preferred
Proficient in computer operations, specifically in the use of Microsoft Office, is required
Possess a comprehensive military background, with a focus in BN level operations andor higher
WORK ENVIRONMENT PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Indoor andor outdoor environment - must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures
24 hrs7 days a week, may work 12 hour shifts as required may be required to work an uncommon schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and cover down on EOC Tech position in times of manpower shortages
Must have professional appearance consistent with US military regulations and when off duty consistent with local customs
Must be physically able to pass and meet all Annual Physical Requirements based on contract MOD
Required to observe all safety, security and health requirements for office, warehouse and desert environment
Must be physically fit and capable of lifting 75 pounds a vertical distance of four feet and carrying this weight a horizontal distance of 25 feet
May be required to work an uncommon schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Must be able to work extended hours and evenings, as mission requires
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EducationCertification One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required
Associates degree preferred, with focus in general education
Equivalent work experience can be substituted for education on the basis of one work year for every two years of education required
Knowledge of US Army military operations and tactics is required
Experience
Requires at least two years of experience as an operation officer NCO at BN level, or above
Familiarity with Army terminology, publications, and equipment
Experience working with coalition units, as well as use of interpreters, is preferred
Possess a comprehensive military background, with a focus in BN level operations andor higher
Skills
Must have high-level organizational and planning skills
Must have impeccable customer service skills
Proficient in military map reading, land navigation and radio operations
Must have excellent communications skills, both orally and written

Must possess a US Secret security clearance
Must have a valid drivers license, able to obtain a US Government Motor Vehicle Operators License and Kuwait Drivers License
Must possess or be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
