Position Summary

Under the direction of the Associate General Counsel, Ethics & Compliance Specialist (ECS) are responsible to receive and investigate potential violations of the Vectrus Code of Corporate Conduct, laws, or regulations As the primary interface with complainants, they play a critical role in the implementation of the complaint resolution process ECSs execute three key functions teaching and training, assistance, and investigations In the execution of these key functions, it is of paramount importance that the ECS be proactive and present throughout the workplace environment The Assistant OP is not assigned to a field organization staff, but rather reports directly through the Middle East Associate General Counsel to the Vectrus Director of Ethics and Trade Compliance ECSs are expected to be actively engaged in support of daily Program activities, essentially functioning as the eyes, ears and conscience of the Vectrus Management Team, to include expeditious processing and response to employee identified issues or concerns In that regard, ECSs are expected to be in the field at Program locations conducting interviews and providing assistance a high percent of their time

Major Job Activities

Description

PERCENT of Time Spent

Receives queries andor allegations from employees and reports all Step 3 and 4 complaints or ethics & compliance questions received to the Ethics and Compliance Review Board (ECRB)

5 PERCENT

Enters case information into EthicsPoint and keeps the database up to date in a timely manner

5 PERCENT

Conducts analysis and investigation on issues raised through EthicsPoint or referred by other department leaders

30 PERCENT

Participates in interviews related to cases under investigation

5 PERCENT

Drafts investigation reports (IRs) detailing the findings of the investigations

15 PERCENT

Briefs completed investigation reports to the ECRB

5 PERCENT

Recommends appropriate actions to be taken to the ECRB to resolve assigned cases

Serves as a fair, impartial and objective fact finder and problem solver

10 PERCENT

Safeguards employee confidentiality, particularly the names of complainants or witnesses who specifically request protection of their identities

Coordinates closely with the Legal Department when necessary prior to briefing the ECRB

5 PERCENT

Notifies appropriate employees of the results of the investigation and conducts follow-up

5 PERCENT

Maintains case files to include the record copies of Investigation Reports (IRs)

10 PERCENT

Responsible to complete investigations in a timely manner

Responsible, unless directed otherwise by the ECRB or the Legal Department, to discuss any observations, findings, and assistance requests with management personnel to whom the observations or findings apply When speaking with the managers, ECSs must be careful not to violate employee confidentiality

Assists in on-going education and communication of the Code of Conduct by identifying topics, areas or groups that need specific training, and assisting in the development and delivery of ethics training

Avails himherself of reasonable training opportunities to maintain currency in ethics and compliance matters
