Operations Coordinator (OCN) ( KBO001467 )



Under the general direction of the Director and Operations Manager, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, tracking, coordinating and reporting all operational requirements Primarily responsible for data analyst, developing operational process improvements and Directorate level special projects Will assist with oversight of Directorate work efforts and tracking of all Directorate deliverables

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES Assist with Developing and maintaining operational plans & schedulesfor all Directorate taskings (30 PERCENT )

Works in close coordination with Leads, other supervisors, Operations Manager, the Directorand appropriate external agencies to create a continuous flow of information regarding ongoing Directorate operational activities (30 PERCENT )

Responsible for planning,developing, and coordinating logistical support for multiple, simultaneous, program level activities, and operational areas (15 PERCENT )

Interacts with the military, and other agencyofficials, both over the telephoneand in person, in a professional and tactful manner (5 PERCENT )

Ensures IMD program compliance with safety regulations and collects and analyzes IMD data, such as Assessment Surveysand Inspections, requiredto support the alignment, maintenance, and execution of activities for auditing (5 PERCENT )

Remains current on latest developments in the quality,safety, fire, and environmental industrythrough trade and vendor publications, and corporate-sponsored training (5 PERCENT )

Assists the IMD Directorate with all KBOS-3 Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Quality Assurance(QA) requirements and goals Provides documentation to these divisions as necessary (5 PERCENT )

Performs other duties as required(5 PERCENT )

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED Personal computer, laptops, scanners, printers, faxes, other network equipment and other general office equipment

WORKING ENVIRONMENT Work is generally conducted in a work center administrative environment However, duties may occasionally involve working outside with a potential exposure to extreme temperatures Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas is required Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices Normal work week is 48 hours, but may be required to work overtime

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES May be required to lift, climb, extended sitting or standing, or other physical efforts that are normally required In addition, visual acuity, hearing and speaking requirements are required


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EducationCertifications One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required

High School graduate Associates or Bachelors College degree or equivalent experience

Must be able to obtain a Kuwait Drivers License (KDL)

DOD Information Assurance Awareness Training Cross Domain Violation Training

Fort Gordon Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO)

Experience 3-5 years operational experience Must exhibit strong organization and communication skills Must be familiar with structured project management methodologies and capable of managing concurrent short term and long term projects Expected to be able to produce accurate operational plans and successfully manage to required time and budget constraints

Skills Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal Excellent Customer service skill sets
