Job Title Senior Field Service Representative (Sr FSR)*Job Location KuwaitSecurity Clearance Position requires an active, in-scope US Government issued Secret level clearanceDue to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required *** This position is contingent upon contract award***Job ResponsibilitiesTrace Systems is actively recruiting for a Senior Field Service Representative (Sr FSR)* to be based in Kuwait This position supports a satellite communication program that leverages the Iridium satellite constellation to operate a push-to-talk radio The Senior Field Service Representative (Sr FSR) will serve as the Team Leader for FSRs in a deployed area and be responsible for resolving complex service problems; performing expert maintenance; and installing, configuring and testing Enhanced Mobile satellite Services (EMSS) communications equipment and services The Sr FSR will provide daily supervision and direction to staff and coordinate daily taskings in order to resolve issuesDuties include Develop and maintain basic stock levels for supplies required to perform duties and submitmonitor equipment orders and repair services based upon demand histories and management input regarding future requirements Perform inventory control and property accountability for durable assets and consumable supplies by maintaining coordination with the warehouse and ensuring various cables and other hardware items are shipped to designated sites for implementation of new, or modification to existing, services Maintain and inventory bill of materials on site and possess the ability to understand and interpret engineer drawings in the fabrication and installation of cable assemblies Modify and revise all applicable engineering drawings to reflect actual installation configurations on site The Sr FSR will supervise DTCS training, platform installation, operational field support, and net management to forward deployed operationsThis essential role is our customers first touch point into the system and serve as the most direct and immediate source of feedback for system performance, operational expectation, and overall operational value Trace Systems is looking for personnel who can resolve service problems, perform maintenance, install, configure, and test DTCS Candidates must be able to Troubleshoot DTCS hardware using test instruments and diagnostic tools Prepare DTCS Radios, TOC and Vehicle equipment for installation by testing, calibrating, or modifying equipment as required (design, fabricate, repair, and test) Build operate cable assemblies and associated DTCS devices IAW established standards and Government-articulated design, fabrication and installation specificationsMinimum Qualifications Position requires an active, in-scope US Government issued Secret level clearance Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required Must be able to live and operate in austere and rugged environments and travel throughout the region as needed Adapt to evolving mission requirements Candidate shall support the execution and evaluation of DTCS and related equipment and technologies during its use in operational theaters Candidate shall coordinate the introduction of DTCS and related technologies and equipment with various operational commands andor Agencies and their supporting organizations Candidate shall facilitate the distribution and deployment of DTCS equipment and related technologies in each operational theater working with DISA, operational commands, and other as necessary Candidate shall provide support handheld radios and TOC and vehicle kits Candidate shall provide 24x7 onsite support to operational forces conducting real world operations such as Resolute Support (RS) and Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) Candidate shall develop formal practices and procedures for the operational fielding of DTCS sponsored technologies Candidate shall assist the customer with ordering kits and components and installing kits Candidate shall install provided TOC and Vehicle kits as required Ability to meet medical requirements to deploy OCONUSDesired Qualifications Military Signal and Training BackgroundEducation Associate degree in a communications information technology field or at least 6 years in work experienceTrace SystemsTrace Systems , headquartered in Vienna, Virginia, was founded to support and defend our nations security interests at home and abroad whenever and wherever We provide cybersecurity, intelligence, communications, networking and information technology services, systems, and solutions to the United States Department of Defense, Intelligence Community and Department of Homeland SecurityTo Apply We invite you to put your talents to work by joining a growing team of dynamic professionals here at Trace Systems !
