Job Description

Job SummaryAs a Chef, you are responsible for the entire Kitchen operation, food production and all related sections, including StewardingGeneral Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor all duty schedules in the Kitchen operation and check about the employees grooming to meet the required standards Evaluate the performance of the assigned team Responsible for the timely Kitchen preparations for all meal services in the restaurant in line with the stipulated opening hoursFrequently tour through the Kitchen, Stores and other food production facilities ensuring the highest possible hygiene and maintenance standardsControl the food cost by preparing all store requisitions and direct purchases and minimize wastage Prepare weekly menus in collaboration with the dietitian and the Nures Coordinator Ensure all food sections, equipments, utensils, etc are clean and cleaning schedule is respected and all areas are pests freeEnsure food safety requirments are implemented and are followed in term of receiving food, storage, food handling, allergen management, etcOperate in a safe and environmentally friendly way especially when handling dangerous machineries and equipments Comply with Beit Rafqa s environmental, health and safety policies and proceduresEnsure that the restaurant is clean and in order at all timesWe are located in Jrabta - Batroun
