Job Description

Job Purpose
Expert in BPC system, provides technical support to Finance in activities preparation, consolidation and analysis of financial data from SAP-BPC Modify and develop new system functionalities to meet specialised needs

Reporting and Relationships
Reports to Head of Budget & Reporting
Works closely with Budget & Reporting, Venture Control and Project Accounting
Regular interface with business users such as Commercial Planning and HR Workforce Planning
Provides a link between Finance and IT to ensure stable and reliable operation of BPC system

Key Job Accountabilities (Max 10, each unique, exclude generic)


1 Serve as a key BPC resource for business teams to help define, estimate, and propose solution for business opportunities

2 Accountable for developing and executing planned support and project deliveries

3 Collaborate with IT and Finance to develop specifications for system enhancements for continuous improvement

4 Understand business needsrequirements and translate that understanding into a form that leads to the creation andor composition of better process andor technology solutions in the SAP planning, reporting, and analytics space

5 Perform requirements analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of BPC applications and reporting solutions

6 Maintain the SAP BPC application components (application sets, dimensions, reports, script logic, etc) to support existing developments

7 Create test plans, test cases, and perform functional testing

8 Develop and maintain user BPC documentation and provide training (input sheets, reports, templates, etc) for system users

9 Support for business testing users, fixing UAT issues and testing the fixes

10 Provide end user support during enhancements, upgrades and implementations as needed

11 Troubleshoot data issues between source and target systems

12 Responding and providing support to other activities and initiatives deemed necessary to ensuring successful day-to-day operations

13 Responsible for immediate SAP production issues

14 Analyze and communicate issues and resolution, including problems with data integrity, data design, functional, technical and software issues
