Purpose of the role;
Leads hisher brand portfolio, through creating marketing plans and executing marketing activities, in line with global brand strategies and salesprofit guidelines
PRODUCT
Collect all necessary information to be able to prepare and to propose the P&L of hisher Product Groups to the Marketing Manager
Gather all needed information related to products and brand to market them (packaging, legal information, name registration etc)
Lead all product development and adaptation processes, including localizing products or managing packaging translations
SAR (Sales Analysis Report) Define forecast for the line of product heshe is responsible for, update P2M when needed, and adjust FCs on a monthly basis
MARKETING PLAN
Establish the marketing brand plans for hisher product groups and submit to the Marketing Manager and Country Manager for approval
Fully integrate all brand content and licensing in marketing plans
MARKETING EXECUTION
Media
Brief, implement and control all media plans for hisher products on TV, digital and all other required media (including social media community management)
Work very closely with media agency for the implementation of media campaigns
Lead effectiveness of used media and adapt if necessary
Media Productions
Post Production Amend TV commercials and other assets to local needs (language andor change creative form)
Initiate new commercials or assets when required to answer local needs
Promotions
Initiate promotions to grow the brand andor counter the competition
Brief, create and follow up creative artworks
Blueprint execution
Brand content (video shorts, product app, demo video, etc) Optimize brand content exposure through different media (brand website, YouTube channels, social media for relevant target, broadcaster website, retailer catalogs, other partners, etc)
Licensing work closely with the EMEA consumer products team and the licensing agency to set up cross-category activities, optimize licensed products development & sales (non-core toys, publishing, apparels, video games, etc)
CompetitionMarket Analysis
Follow up competition in terms of sell outmarketing activities (sell-out reports, store checks, via online, etc)
Compare other markets performances and marketing activities
Public relations
Initiate and implement public relations activities for hisher brands, leading the PR agency
Report and control all activities of the PR agency
FINANCIAL CONTROL
Be responsible for the A&P Budget and lead the follow-up (PR & PO creation and other SAP processes) done by the Marketing Assistant
Align with the Marketing Manager on A&P budget on a monthly basis
MARKET KNOWLEDGE
Be the expert on the brand (product and target group), field experience (store checks)
Propose and implement necessary tests or research in order to get a better knowledge of the brand andor specific product potential
SALES RELATIONS
Initiate meetings with sales when necessary on specific subjects andor products
Prepare and present the brand and marketing presentations to key customers (previews) and the sales team
Be responsible for accurate info on prices lists, sales analysis reports, etc
Requirements;
University degree in business management marketing
At least 3 years of experience in managing a brand preferably gained in an international operating company
Relevant experience and appetite for digital marketing and product management
Fluent in English (and preferably in Arabic) at a full professional level
Product affinity and identification
Strong problem-solving skills and service orientation
Evidence of ability to persuade and influence
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Very good MS-Office knowledge, especially Excel and Powerpoint
Team player attitude
Hands-on mentality in a very dynamic environment
Highly analytical and creative skills
Experience and proven success in achievement of digital marketing opportunities
