Job Description

Prepare Quotation based on established procedures and standards of the company
Receive orders via phone, e-mail, and fax, and enter orders into the system
Organize, input and update relevant data about the customer in the database
Ensure adherence to customer requirements and organizational standard operating procedures at all times, including, but not limited to, communication, processing of paperwork, billing
Ensure customer issues are dealt with in an effective manner, involving the concerned sales person or operations manager when necessary
File data and perform other routine clerical tasks as needed
Maintain excellent working relationships with customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, etc, in a courteous and efficient manner
Report customer feedback to management, including any signs of customer dissatisfaction
Maintain a current and accurate procedures manual that details the processing requirements for each account
Builds and maintains customer relationships in a professional manner
Ensure each shipment generates the maximum contribution to the company by keeping constant focus on meeting the required service level at the lowest possible cost
