Roles & ResponsibilitiesManager LevelProvides administrative and technical direction of all Quality Assurance activitiesWithin the FacilityResponsible for ensuring the qualities of the Facility to ensure that products meet the quality standards of the customer, the OEM and parent companyResponsible for the technical training of all dedicated inspection personnelManages the Safety programTechnical LevelUpdates the Repair Manual to comply with all Civil Aviation Regulations from various governing bodies and obtaining approvals from all necessary agenciesMaintains a distribution list of all copies of the Repair Manual and ensures that all copies (Paper and or Electronic) are provided revisionupdates as required by the end userDevelops inspection standards, methods and procedures to verify compliance with all applicable manufacturer s recommendations and customerrequirementsEnsures that Facility products meet all of the technical specifications as required by the customer, including the manufacturer s maintenance manual,customer repair instructions, Service Bulletins, Service Information Letters, Technical Information Letters and Airworthiness DirectivesEnsures that proper inspection record, reports, and forms are used and correctly executed during the repair and inspection processesEnsures that files for work orders, inspection forms, and related work records are properly maintained and readily retrievable by this repairstation to prevent loss or damageMaintains a current file of applicable Airworthiness Directives and similar repair instructions from the various governing bodiesEnsure that all materials are inspected and approved by authorized personnel prior to receiving into inventoryEstablishes and maintains a system of inspection and calibration of precision tools and test equipmentassigned to this repair station, ensuring that no equipment or tooling is utilized in the repair process unless it has been properly inspectedandor calibratedManages all aspects of the development of new repair capabilities (Test bench, Training, Documentation, Tooling and parts)WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSMinimum 15 years working experience in aircraft avionics & instrumentation service environment in a quality assurance r leQUALIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSBachelors degree in ElectronicsKnowledge of avionics, electronics and quality assurance functions requiredExperience interfacing with FAAEASA GCAA auditsStrong English language oral communication and technical writing skills requiredPREFERRED SKILLS
