Job Description

- Monitoring vessel movements
- Dealing with day-to-day operational issues of ships, including navigational safety cargo, ballast and tank cleaning operations;
- Analysis and monitoring of operational data to ensure potential problems are averted;
- Provide guidance to the fleet on cargo and navigational issues;
- Voyage demurrage calculations, raising invoices to Charterers;
- Appointing Agents in port and handling port disbursements;
- Overseeing the crewing process to ensure compliance with company standards;
- Responsible for reviewing appraisals of shipboard staff
- Responsible for crew planning, selection and relief;
- Ensuring that all STCW requirements and manning requirements with respect to the crew are complied with
- Pre and Post Voyage analysis
