This job opportunity is with a large government entity in Dubai, UAE
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for making sure that the company practices are following the health and safety regulations, especially after an inspection that required changes, installing safety devices on machinery Review employee safety programs, maintain and apply knowledge of current policies and regulations, and give appropriate recommendations to drive improvements You would manage and highlight risks in a systematic manner, any control weakness should be reported and escalated in order to ensure that all internal controls are in place with minor supervision You would obtain approvals, secure permits, and assist in major shutdowns You would be the single point of liaison on reporting safety zone infringements
To be successful, you will possess at least 5 years of varied operational, maintenance and risk management experience A Diploma in Process engineering or related field is a must
