Job Description

The Position To manage and develop the data management and analytics functions of Skywards, Emirates Frequent Flyer Programme in order to influence members to behave in ways that positively affect profit drivers for the airline The objectives of the Skywards programme are to improve customer experience and build lifetime customer value by developing competitive global products, aligning to Emirates and expanding as a profit centre The job holder will liaise with internal and external suppliers to ensure that the programme is effectively implemented and regularly enhanced and monitoredJob Outline1 Research, develop and manage the on&going refinement of member benefits and schemes in order to ensure the programme stays innovative, exceeds customer expectations and is consistent with the departments strategy Investigate and identify changes to the product to drive member advocacy2 Act as the Skywards expert in the field of data analytics and data management3 Using both qualitative and quantitative techniques, drive the analysis of customer preferences and member data to generate insights and leverage opportunities to improve share of wallet among Emirates customers and increase profit for the airline Develop effective segmentation and targeting of members to drive incremental revenue opportunities4 Proactively make suggestions to improve the methodologies and best practice procedures for data and information management systems Maintain and grow your knowledge and understanding of emerging and current technologies, approaches and toolsets5 Create value for the group through the management and hands on delivery of analysis projects including predictive and descriptive analysis, developing customer segmentations, delivering reports and insights and presenting findings6 Manage on&going analysis of the programmes reward and redemption mechanics, working with relevant commercial departments This will entail supporting a new and innovative basis for air travel reward and could require the development of new methods7 Support the implementation of proactive member communication and education strategies to ensure a clear understanding and strong buy&in of the programme by customers and internal stakeholders Ensure all elements comply with published corporate standards8 Define an annual analytics plancalendar that includes all major campaign activity for the programme Estimate and manage the budgets required and execute and monitor the plan9 Benchmark core elements of the reward and recognition proposition against peers and competitors and make recommendations for further enhancements Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base on other loyalty programmes, monitor industry trends and ensure distribution of the information to internal stakeholders10 Accountable for regional outstation co&ordination and support As the primary Skywards contact, support outstations to achieve their revenue objectives by providing relevant and timely inputs on their members and managing Skywards promotions and processes on their behalf This also ensures developing all reports and information required for distribution to the markets11 Manage programme budgets and profitability Control costs and conduct cost benefit analysis to ensure the programme delivers within set commercial objectives Monitor internal performance measures to ensure programme deliverables are on track12 Select and manage teams responsible for the delivery of Skywards data management and member engagement Plan, assign priorities and monitor workloads Conduct performance appraisals and support subordinates professional developmentSalary & Benefits We offer an attractive tax&free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) Specifically in the field of Marketing / Business Administration / Product Development.Experience:8+ yrs Managerial experience in the management and use of large data sets. Experience with product and marketing activities and functions, preferably for a Frequent Flyer Programme or within the airline industry. Experience in project management, particularly within an operational environment is required. Experience with data analytical tool setsKnowledge/skills:A creative and lateral thinker. Self motivated, proactive and highly organised. An ability to translate statistical fact into marketing understanding for non technical audiences with strong presentation skills Flexible to work longer hours when required and open to travel for business A passion for marketing and analysis and the ability to think problems all the way through to come up with the very best solution.
