Job Description

We are a leading Electro-Mechanical Contracting Company having Head Office in Dubai and branch offices across GCC region requires a high caliber Project Manager to execute Large Pumping Station project Water Transmission System The scope of work is Design, Supply, Installation, testing & commissioning of complete electro-mechanical and Instrumentation works associated with the Pumping Station

Job Description-

The Project Manager having accomplished Large Water Pumping Station projects with the clients like TRANSCO ADWEA DEWA etc
Responsible for the implementation of the Project Management Process from Initiation to close out
The Project Manager with deep technical knowledge will be responsible to independently plan, supervise & execute the projects
Responsible to direct and supervise all construction operations related to contract administration, review of design & scope, change orders, procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements to ensure projects are completed in a quality, profitable, safe, and timely manner
Establish the site and set-up the project team
Establishing the schedule and budget of the project, and ensure that milestones and deliverables are met through the life of the project
Participate in the formulation and implementation of the Project Management strategy to ensure the alignment with the companys strategy and monitor the progress
Participate in the projects management policies, processes and procedures and manage the implementation to ensure all relevant procedural legislative requirements are fulfilled
Provide leadership and guidance to the Site Manager, Project Engineers and the Supervisors Project team and manage the day to day operations of the projects
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Contract Documents, the General Contract and the Subcontracts and their administration
Planning, scheduling, execution, billing claims with client
Prime responsibility is to ensure that the project produces the required deliverables, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost
Liaise with Client senior management and ensures good relations are maintained
Organize weekly progress review meetings and submit reports to the management
Responsible for ensuring the project team is contractually aware of their respective responsibilities, scopes of work & deliverables and ensure that they meet their goals, deliverable deadlines
Responsible for all day to day decisions relating to the management of the project including resources and skill required, implementation of projects controls, making recommendations on changes to the specifications
Identify areas of concern and take corrective and preventing actions
Manage the mapping of the progress vs plan ensuring consistency with budgeting and planned completion or review dates
Work with clients to establish detailed projects plans which identify key milestones and deliverables and preparing necessary project report
Ensures that the HSE and Quality plans are being adhered
Candidate should have minimum 15 years of relevant experience in executing such projects
Problem solving ability, both personnel issues and project issues
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
Project Management certification is mandatorily required
Excellent organizational and coordination skills
Excellent leadership and communications skills (Written & spoken English)
