Position summary
The main role is to promote products & services
To develop and maintain relationships with current customers and potential customers to prospect for new business & clients to achieve the overall sales budget
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
Sales and distribution
Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails in order to gain the highest level of customer loyalty
Visit potential customers to prospect for new business to increase participation;
Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets to increase coverage;
Relationship with the market
Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales to increase PINS;
Gather market and customer information & intelligence to ensure market leadership;
Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations to increase exposure;
Communication with the team
Liaise with sales coordinator to check on the progress of existing orders to deliver to clients as promise;
Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock to ensure stock replenishment;
Record sales and order information and send copies to the sales office to ensure all team alignment with market trends;
Feed future buying trends back to employers to assist in strategic solutions
Reporting
Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
Gain a clear understanding of customers businesses and requirements
