ABOUT NIELSEN AAC
Help your client grow their business by partnering with them to draw compelling insights from Nielsen data The Advanced Analytics Consultant will be curious, self-motivated and have a creative touch
Leverage statistical analysis to understand past trends and predict the future effect of marketing tactics on sales You will create concise and compelling presentations about brand, market, industry and category trends in response to your clients business needs You will work with a cross-functional range of stakeholders to help our clients make smarter decisions when investing their marketing budget and ensure that the client is achieving maximum benefit from their Nielsen investment
The Advanced Analytics Consultant will partner with modeling teams to develop econometric models that incorporate numerous factors impacting sales performance (media, pricing, promotions, weather, seasonality,
economic conditions, category trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities) to help isolate whats really driving consumers purchase decisions and identify the most effective strategies to achieve clients profitability
objectives Presenting often to senior client stakeholders, this role provides a platform to influence client strategy at the highest levels and demands strong commercial and analytical capability
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Translation of advanced analytics results into actionable business decisions
Use of Nielsen tools and data in preparing marketing and sales effectiveness reports
Deep understanding of client needs and preparation of quality reports with valuable insights and recommendations
Set up and manage own projects - set and keep deadlines, manage expectations of key stakeholders both internally and externally
Work as a valuable team player within an international team (English as daily working language)
Be the connecting link between sales and modeling and deliver quality reports by working together
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Interest in marketing, market research, sales and client consultancy
Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
Experience in market research, media agency or FMCG fields
Knowledge of Nielsen RA data andor tools like Advisor
Ability to think beyond the box, add insights from other data and sources in order to add value to deliverables
Ability to follow instructions and stick to the agreed process
Responsibility and commitment to deliver value to clients
Ability to prioritize own tasks and keep deadlines
Independence and excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Fluent in English
