Job Description

Job Summary

The role holder is responsible for maximizing market share of the Business Unit through development and implementation of effective product presentation standards and methods, in line with the overall objectives The job holder will also be responsible for managing the development and implementation of effective product presentation and creative displays standards to create a world class visually stunning brand proposition and in store retail environment

Accountabilities

Core Responsibilities

Manages development of creative and innovative product presentation solutions for the Business Unit to maximize market share

Plans and manages product presentation tasks to minimize expenditure and maximize productivity within the allocated budget

Manages, conceptualizes and ensures implementation of the Brand visual Strategy

Co-ordinates with Buyers, Marketing team, Retail Operations, Projects in determining specific product presentation needs for conceptualization and design of product presentation solutions such as fixtures, image photos and point of sale materials etc

Plans and develops the product presentation calendar for the Business Unit

Ensures development and implementation of effective product presentation standards and methods

Supervises development of creative and innovative product presentation seasonal solutions

Coordinates with Brand Management team to maintain a detailed knowledge of the available merchandise

Manages construction and documentation of in-store creative and window guidelines

Plans and develops store Dcor and windows

Oversees development of plans for seasons and brand update store set up

Conducts market researchauditmonitor competitors and understand the latest trends

Assesses and recommends action to product presentation team regarding brand presentation issues, promotions and events, and training issues related to product presentation standards

Coordinates with the marketing team and Retail Operations Product Presentation teams in delivering a consistent brand image in all stores

Co-ordinates with Retail Operations Product Presentation teams for guiding stores on product presentation implementation based on store formats and brands

People Management

Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective implementation of the GMGs performance management process

Develops talent within the team by providing guidance, mentoring and coaching to achieve the defined goals and a high performance team

Drives a culture of feedback and coaching in the Business Unit Department by providing feedback on an ongoing basis, identifying development needs and coaching the employees on the areas of improvement


REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualifications and Certificates

Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing or equivalent

Masters Degree in Marketing is preferred

Experience

A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a similar role
